UK Runnings Presents Deeze – They Call Me Big Dutty

Deeze a.k.a Big Dutty Deeze is rapidly making a name for himself in the world of Hip-Hop. The story began on October 1st 2010 when he debuted with his mixtape ‘The Pre-Turn’ with the infamous UK mixtape giants UK Runnings. He then launched his own label Deeze Music as a launch pad for his own music and released two well received street albums; ‘The Re-Turn’ in November 2010 and ‘The Re-Birth’ on New Years Day 2011. This trio of releases now called ‘The Re-Series’ solidified Deeze in the UK rap scene as well as getting love from fans in the USA, Australia and Europe.

The buzz off these free download releases led to Deeze being asked to release an EP on one of the UK’s longest running independent Hip-Hop labels Wolftown Recordings. The ‘Late Nights, Early Mornings EP’ was a collection of five tracks produced by Tricksta. This digitally released EP received positive feedback from music media and the promotional music video to the track ‘Big Tingz’ had over 12,000 views on You Tube, as well as featuring on over seventy-five different on-line magazine and blog websites including RWD, Rago Magazine, Stand Up UK, Urban Vault and more.

Since then Deeze has been busy collaborating on various projects including a feature on Tricksta’s single ‘Out Of Darkness’ as well as featuring on three other tracks for Tricksta’s forthcoming album ‘Out Of Darkness Cometh Light’ as well as recording a solo track and featuring on a track with Jadakiss and Konny Kon for Stealf’s forthcoming album ‘I Am Stealf’. Deeze has also been working with producer Juttla and will feature on a forthcoming release for Eastern Pressure Records. There is no doubting that Deeze is making waves and with a hard work ethic surely there is no stopping this talented emcee, and with rumours of a Stateside album release circlulating things really are hotting up for Deeze!

Now we get Deeze’s brand new mixtape, his fifth release and second release with Tricksta’s UK Runnings ‘They Call Me Big Dutty’. With artwork resembling the computer game ‘The Call Of Duty – Black Ops’, this new mixtape is a selection of twelve banging tracks that any discerning Hip-Hop fan will adore. No Autotune, No corny lyrics, just straight up real bars delivered with passion and fire. This mixtape is the perfect release to keep us going until we get the Batman inspired EP release ‘This Is Gotham’ from Deeze Music. The futures bright, the futures Deeze.

Nightwalker “Walkin At Night (Based On A True Story)”

Back in October I had the pleasure to introduce you to Nightwalker one of the dopest Emcee’s to come of out New York, he has proven to be a force in Hip Hop that everyone is taking notice of from opening up for the Legendary Beatnuts to Nas & more. Recently adding to his success was Nightwalker’s Engineering on Viper Records own Diabolic debut album “Liar & a Thief”.

In a smart move, Nightwalker made the wise choice and signed with an amazing new Record Label that is pioneering in the Underground world known as RedPhone Records. Now under a new Label Nightwalker has done what most are to scared to do, release a new album with zero features or big names just to sell his music. Nightwalker knows what it takes to stand on his own in times where it’s easy to fall lack luster to trends. Let’s get to the most recent release “Walking at Night” was produced entirely by Nightwalker himself! Proving that he’s true to his culture he creatively “took it back” by using an Ensoniq EPS 6 Plus (and old keyboard/sampler from 1990/91) for the fundamental process into making this album.

In addition to signing to a new Label, Releasing a new street album, Nightwalker will be on an exclusive West Coast Tour with Diabolic and the Lyrical Jesus himself Chino XL. Not one to wait around for projects, an EP featuring Nightwalker, Matt Maddox and Diabolic together known as “Avengers” with production by C-Lance (Enemy Soil) is set for a Summer release including a Comic Book followed by a European & US Tour!

“Walking at Night” will be available on CD, Digitally, and on Limited edition Vinyl!

Calling all producers… Sir Tomz remix opportunity!

Sir Tomz has already achieved a lot in his musical career. His Joe Buddha produced track ‘Sky Fall’ got licensed to Tim Westwood’s massive UK Hip-Hop compilation that was released a few years back as well as featuring on Big Dada releases “Permanament” by Gamma and the compilation album ‘Extra Yard’ where he produced three tracks including a remix of Roots Manuva’s ‘Bashment Boogie’. Tomz has also played live all over the UK as well as venues in Spain, France and other European countries, as well as featuring in various magazines and websites.

Now those kind people at Jailhouse Ltd have offered an olive branch to those beatmakers and producers who would like the opportunity to remix one of his tracks for a future release. There are six tracks for people to choose from and each link is to a zip file that contains the original song and an accapella. Stress Dollaz Interview

Thanks for passing by www.darealbiz.com. Please introduce yourself and tell us about what you have released to date.
What up World its ya boy StressDollaz coming straight outta NewYork repping that Rotten Apple Entertainment and 50/50 Konvict Muzik. I have various mixtapes I have released which you can catch on the web www.stressdollaz.com and all the major mixtape sites.

Where do you live and what is it there? What’s the main Hip-Hop radio show in your city?
I currently live in NewYork City the home of the Spitters the birth place of HipHop. The main radio show here is Hot 97.1fm

When did you start making music and more importantly why did you decide to make music?
I started making music at 11 years old I come from a musical background, my family has always been in the business. I decided to start rapping because of my uncles in the Bronx who had a crazy crew called Live Poets. Watching and listening to them inspired me to get in the game.

When did you release your first song and what was the response like?
Honestly I sucked back then when I started hahaha I use to just freestyle a lot so when I released my first song/project it was sub par with the feedback. But now you can’t shut me up I think I’m hotter than the sun.

How you would you describe your musical style and swagger?
I’m very versatile I can be very witty, comical, but the most I give u raw lyrics and real stories, my swagger is flawless I don’t see anybody I got that tunnel vision.

Let’s talk about your latest project. Where can we get it, who features and what label is it on?
Its been a while since I dropped a project. I am currently working on a album and a mixtape which will be released on 50/50 Konvict Muzik expect to here some of the Konvict artists on there my Rotten Apple family on there and many more.

How long did it take to create and finish?
Album and mixtape still in progress.

If was in the streets and you came up to me with your latest release to try and sell it to me, what would you say? What major points would be in your sales pitch?!!
My opinion its hard to sell a CD no one has heard before so my sales pitch would be just take a listen, you can’t expect the consumer to buy your album because you said its hot.

What would you consider to be your biggest track to date?
I would have to say a song I did called “Show Me” its old to me but the streets still love it so I make sure that song is in my performances.

Being totally honest, do you still buy music? If so where do you get your CD’s from?
I still buy music but I only buy something that’s worth listening to I don’t buy CD’s I get it off itunes.

Do you like any other styles of music outside your genre?
Absolutely I love jazz music, soul music, R&B , Pop I like to broaden my musical tastes.

So how can promoters book you for shows and what does your live show entail?
If promoters would like to book me for shows contact Stress@5050KonvictMuzik.com my live show is like a build up I give u a little taste then mid-way I switch gears and give u a lot of energy until that last record is done.

Do you think illegal downloads are killing the music industry or does it help artists to get out there?
Its killing the business artist put a lot of money and time into these projects to barely gain anything back. You may gain a lot of fans and interest but it won’t equal to the money your losing.

Good luck for the future. Anything you want to add before you go?
I would like to thank you guys for this interview and give a couple shoutouts to my team 50/50 Konvict Muzik Family,Qwes Kross, D-Teck, Hotel Mckinley, Akon,  Rotten Apple Entertainment, Tha Incentive, Fed-Note,Astro Armz,Brook,Mr and Mrs Gat our time is now….Hutt!

Check out…
